thoughts - about light.
August 18th, 2007I’ve been thinking about how light is portayed in culture, and found some interesting paradoxes:
lucifer - “the bringer of light” . A fallen angel who was cast down to hell, as a punishment for being too cocky. I think there is a lesson here for the group of people outlined below.
illuminati-”the enlightened ones”. Originally a group of free thinking scientists and academics, now cast as part of the New World Order of conspiracy theories and freemasonry. They believed that science held the key to many mysteries and the furthering of humanity..
“the light at the end of the tunnel” - could be a train coming at you, or coming out of darkness into the light of a new place. I have a print of such a picture that shows these possibilities, unfortunately no idea who painted at the moment.
